Momma Bird was the first to hatch chicks this year. Our renter found her nest while moving out. Not knowing how long she had already been setting, we put her and the eggs into the rabbit hutch for safekeeping. Eventually she hatched out her brood: 3 golden and one black. Siamese cat is Smokey Boy, left by a different renter. Calico is Katya, left by the people we bought the house from.

What a mess! Occasionally animals come into our garage. When I'm not caught up on egg washing, it can be a real mess. In the last month or two, we've been visited by both a raccoon (this mess) and a skunk (who was a much neater eater) (Not that I *want* a skunk in my garage!)
