Nadya checks the Whitney Crab apple tree. The fruit on it were 3 to 4 inches across this year, not the 2 inches or less that you expect from a crab apple. As you can see, it seems to be entirely recovered from the goat attack of 4 years ago. I honestly didn't think splinting such a broken trunk would help.
